The Shotokan Karate Club is a group of students with a common interest in learning and training in the art of Shotokan Karate.

The objectives of the club are to introduce students to the basics of karate (strikes and blocks), kata (patterns of karate), sparring, self-defence, and the philosophy of Shotokan.

In addition to learning karate, students focus on improving coordination, physical fitness, and learning self-defense.  Beginners and students with prior experience are welcome.
